Legacy of Excellence: Taj – From Paris to Jhelum
2015 – The name “Taj” holds a special place in our family’s legacy, derived from our great grandfather, Choudhary Haji Muhammad Taj (Late), who served as the Chairman of UC Badlot. The vision of establishing marriage halls in Jhelum was inspired by our grandfather, Choudhary Nazim Hussain, whose dedication and foresight have brought us to where we are today.
Our journey began when our grandfather, Choudhary Nazim Hussain, traveled to Paris, France, and through sheer hard work and determination, opened our first restaurant, New Jawad. Over time, with the support of my father and uncle, the family expanded the business, establishing three more successful branches in Paris under the same name.
After achieving remarkable success in the restaurant industry abroad, our grandfather, Choudhary Nazim Hussain, decided to bring his entrepreneurial spirit back to his hometown, Jhelum. With a vision to serve the community, he initiated the idea of opening a marriage hall, naming it in honor of our great grandfather, Haji Muhammad Taj. In October 2015, we proudly launched our first project, Taj Marquee Civilines, which received overwhelming appreciation and success.
Encouraged by the positive response and public demand, we embarked on a larger venture to serve the community further. In October 2024, we inaugurated Taj Palace, a state-of-the-art event venue located on GT Road, Jhelum, near the Toyota Showroom. Since its opening, Taj Palace has garnered immense praise and support from the community, for which we are deeply grateful.
We humbly ask for your continued prayers as we strive to grow and expand our services, aiming to provide exceptional experiences for our valued clients. Alhamdulillah, our journey has been blessed, and we remain committed to upholding the legacy of our forefathers while serving our community with excellence.
